SIX INJURED IN WILSON NEW YORK SKYDIVE PLANE CRASH

A pilot and five skydivers were injured, five of them seriously, when their Cessna 185 crashed at the end of the runway upon takeoff.

The plane crash happened at Hollands International Airport which is the location of Frontier Skydivers Club in upstate Wilson, New York.

According to witnesses and reports, the aircraft lifted off from the aproximately 3,000 foot long runway and was 30-40 feet into the air when it suddenly nosedived into the neighboring woods.

The pilot and jumpers were taken to Erie County Medical Center.

The FAA and NTSB are on the scene and investigating
